Meet the Whipkey family – Derek, Brittany and their adorable baby boy Ryker! This was a fun, last-minute session thanks to the gorgeous winter storm we had the weekend before Thanksgiving. I was super impressed with 9-month-old Ryker – he LOVED the snow! To be fair, I think he had about 7 layers of clothing on under his cute outfit, but still – it was about 20* outside when we did this mini session up at Fox Run Regional Park in northern Colorado Springs and for the most part he was all smiles (until we tried to get him to stand next to a tree, haha). The Whipkeys are new to Colorado, so this was their first snowfall here and we totally lucked out fitting them in to my crazy winter schedule for family photos. Enjoy! xoxo
