Meet Chris and Christie … I met Christie in November when she came to do a boudoir shoot with me as a Christmas gift for her husband … and we hit it off right away. She is such a kind, loving, warm-hearted and beautiful person inside and out. When she talked about Chris, her eyes just lit up and twinkled like some teenager in puppy love … except Chris and Christie’s love story is nothing new. In fact, they have one of the most romantic love stories I’ve ever heard. In Christie’s own words …

We met for the first time in 1992 when we both worked as teenagers at a Kmart in Louisiana. We had eyed each other many times before he finally said, “Hey, do you work here?”

When I replied, “Yes” in a shy manner, all he could do was walk backwards and say, “Wow” with a huge grin on his face.

The next four months we were inseparable. It was love at first sight for both of us and an incredible love it was. Four months later he was sent to work off shore and without phones, computers, internet etc … we lost touch and eventually both went on with our lives. For the next 17 years we searched for each other periodically just to make sure the other was doing well. Little did we know that in April 2010 we would find each other again by accident and pick up right where we left off and be married just one month later!

We have loved each other for nearly 20 years and now after being separated by War for a year, have a lot of catching up to do. We have always known we belonged to each other, and no time, distance, or deployment will keep us a part ever again. 

True love prevails, ladies and gentleman! I’ll be so excited to be at Chris’ homecoming ceremony in May, but for now we are enjoying Chris being home on R&R. <3
