Colorado Springs Wedding First Look

Earlier this summer, I had the opportunity to work with Kristina Lynn Photography & Design for a gorgeous wedding at The Sunbird, here in Colorado Springs. Before we headed to the ceremony and reception, our beautiful bride Jayne got to surprise her husband-to-be Mike with a “first look.” I absolutely ADORE when couples do first looks. Why? For two reasons. For one, it’s so intimate and private; it gives the groom the opportunity to really appreciate the beauty of his bride in her dress, and I feel it’s much more emotional. For two, it saves on time! We were able to knock out all of the bridal party and formal/creative photos prior to the ceremony, which meant that once we got to the venue, Mike + Jayne could put 100% of their focus on getting married and being with their friends and family, who flew in from all over the country to be there for their special day.
