When Marc initially reached out to me about taking engagement photos at Bell Rock in Sedona, he honestly hadn’t even proposed yet. 😅 But, he absolutely knew that his college sweetheart, Maisie, would say yes – and of course, she did! They actually got engaged the weekend before, and Maisie told me the story:
Marc went above and beyond, he did such a good job. I was so surprised! We typically each plan one date night per month, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary for Marc to tell me we had dinner and a wine tasting scheduled. The “wine tasting” (spoiler: it was not a wine tasting) was at a hotel downtown, and when we got there, they led us to a balcony where Marc had set up flowers and candles, and he proposed.
The biggest surprise of all is that he had my four best friends fly in from all around the country, and they were waiting to celebrate with us after. He spent months planning the perfect weekend!
It was so sweet, hearing the two of them talk about it while we hiked around Bell Rock. I could feel how excited both of them are to spend the rest of their lives together. 🥹
I took their engagement photos at sunrise on a perfectly cloudy day, which is definitely not the norm for Sedona! But, the clouds were definitely paid actors, along with the incredible views of the red rocks.
