Meet the Kroner family! It’s always such an honor when another photographer hires me to document their family. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Suzi before – last year I helped her surprise her husband with a little something sexy under the Christmas tree … So when Suzi called me and asked me to capture her family pictures, of course I absolutely said YES!! This was my first time meeting Suzi’s husband Karl, a medic in the US Army; it was also my first time being able to meet Suzi’s beautiful children, 2-year-old Russell and 7-month-old Addisyn. While Karl is stationed at nearby Fort Carson, Suzi has turned into an amazing photographer and I’m so proud to call her a peer, and a friend. When they aren’t busy with work, the Kroner’s spend their time being outdoors, playing cars and dinosaurs with Russ and watching Addie crawl around (she is SO sweet!). And – this April, Karl and Suzi will be celebrating their third wedding anniversary – congratulations, y’all!
We had a wonderful time doing their shoot up in northern Colorado Springs, at Fox Run Park. Despite the snow on the ground, it was actually pretty warm for their session! Enjoy! xoxo
