I absolutely love this family – Brian and Julie have become such dear friends over the years. This was actually my fourth time documenting their little family! And, every single time I walk away with the biggest smile on my face. This time we revisited a small beach next to Lake Michigan during one of my final trips back to Wisconsin this summer.
Don’t let the warm colors and beach aesthetic fool you – it was in barely 60 degrees and incredibly windy (brrr!). Like true midwestern kids, Cali, Easton and Riley were total troopers with the chilly weather; meanwhile, I was shivering from head to toe and definitely headed to Kwik Trip afterward for a cup of hot cocoa. 🤣 I think it’s safe to say that I have acclimated to Phoenix weather!
