Hello friends!!!! This week has been quite the week for us. We spent half the week apart for travel, and we have one heck of an amazing weekend planned, so let’s get this party started! Here we go!!!
Friday Five | Vol. 4
1.) Randy spent a couple days by himself in Tennessee for his very first photography workshop (did you watch his first InstaStory about it??). It was a really interesting and eye-opening experience that will definitely effect our business from now on , and one Randy will be sharing more about it on the blog next week! But!! In the meantime, here’s a peek of what happened at the shoot that happened at the end of the workshop!
Tennessee is certainly one of the most beautiful states, isn’t it??
And can we all just take a second to cheer Randy’s growth as an ARTIST over the last few years??! He was so excited when he got home yesterday to show off the shoot!
2.) We are gearing up for Sierra’s 9th birthday celebrations this weekend. It’s hard to believe this is the last year of single digits for her, because umm – wasn’t she a baby about 12 minutes ago?! We went shopping yesterday and Randy about had a heart attack, shopping for clothes + makeup (for playing only!!!!) and nail polish and all things “tween” – don’t think he’s ready for the girls’ teen years quite yet!
3.) We are just going to leave this right here.

4.) Last night was one of those moments in our kids’ lives that we hope they remember for the rest of their lives. We all stayed up until almost midnight, laying on the trampoline in the backyard, staring up at the stars watching the Perseid Meteor Shower. Hearing the kids squeal “there’s another one!!!” and “did you see that one?!” was definitely one of those cool parent moments for us both!! We tried to take photos of the meteors but we didn’t catch any. Maybe next year we’ll have better luck!
And yes, today will likely be a two-pot of coffee kind of day because:
5.) We have a date tonight with our girl ADELE!! We haven’t had the opportunity to go to a concert in a few years, so we’re really excited for tonight!! Be sure to follow us on Instagram, we’ll be Insta-Storying our adventure!

I stayed up to watch the meteor shower too! It was majestic! Have fun at Adele!!! I hear she’s AMAZING!!!!
