So today Randy and I took a drive with the kids. We had every intention on taking a small hike in the south part of Colorado Springs and checking out Helen Hunt Falls. We googled the directions, hopped in the car, had our trusty Colorado hiking guide … Got onto Gold Camp Road and ended up in Cripple Creek.

Uh, whoops?

The drive is just absolutely gorgeous. It took us about an hour and a half to finally pop out at Cripple Creek, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Since we had just planned on hiking, we didn’t bring our “big” cameras but I did snap a few with my iPhone (see below). We definitely have plans to take some adventurous clients up there for shoots, guaranteed to be amazing!

Gotta love Colorado – make a wrong turn and end up seeing something beautiful!
