July is seriously one of my favorite months to photograph just about anything in Wisconsin. The weather can be really hit or miss, but, it’s my absolute favorite month of the year. Why? Because everything is luscious and green, and the wildflowers are just everywhere. This year, the flowers bloomed a little later than they normally do so I’m hoping that means they’ll stick around later into the summer. Wishful thinking, right?

Anyyyyyway! I had so much fun with Derek and Lauren for their Lake Geneva summer engagement photos at White River County Park. They brought their sweet boy, Tucker, and together we hiked all over the park. Tucker is such a good boy!! He was a total ham when he wasn’t busy sniffing all the smells everywhere, haha!

Derek and Lauren are getting married next summer, and I’m so excited for them. They met while they were in college, but funny enough – even though they took an accounting class together, they never realized that they were in each others’ class until their two dorms got together for an ice breaker event! These two fit together like a perfectly made two-piece puzzle though, so I have no doubt that it was destiny for them to meet, fall in love and now … plan their wedding!
