Meet the Gervais family … one of the funnest, silliest, and most loving families I have ever had the honor of photographing! We met really early in the morning in early March so I could capture some family photos before Matthew heads off to boot camp for the Navy at the end of the month. Sharon (Mom) had warned me that they hadn’t had pictures taken since the kids were “really, really little” and had NEVER done pictures outside of a studio! Craziness! But then I met them … and totally understood WHY they hadn’t done it in so long! If one of them wasn’t cracking the jokes, Tony (Dad) was doing something to make everyone laugh (including me!).
This session was the PERFECT example of having an amazing experience. Hiring a photographer isn’t just about getting dressed up and snapping some shots … it’s about creating memories and having an AMAZING time! Thank you so much to the Gervais family for one of the happiest shoots I’ve ever done in my entire career!
I took dozens and dozens of images because I knew a good 80% of them would turn out as outtakes … some of which, I’m sharing in this blog. Be warned :: some of the pictures might be somewhat offensive (the boys photobombed the girls … that’s all I can say without giving too much away, ha ha!!!!).
