Movie Colony Engagement Session
Right away, there was attraction and chemistry; there was absolutely no doubt about that. Tim + Vanessa met in person for the first time on a ‘meet and greet’ date at the Yard House, after initially meeting on match.com. And it didn’t take long for them both to realize each other was ‘the One’ – and after spending some time around these two, there’s no doubt about it: they were made for each other. Tim can make Vanessa laugh like no one else, and the way she smiles at him when he doesn’t know she’s looking? It’s the stuff that makes our little romantic hearts so happy!
We spent some time together in an area of Palm Springs known as Movie Colony – steeped in rich history, the Movie Colony neighborhood has housed some of the greatest stars in Hollywood and the historical homes are just as beautiful today as they were when they were originally built, some over 100 years ago. We spent the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday (sorry, Tim!) strolling around the neighborhood, enjoying the gorgeous mansions and sprawling properties, googling who lived where (part of their engagement shoot was spent across the street from what used to be Clark Gable’s home, which was pretty rad to say the least). Vanessa looked like a vision in her backless black lace dress, and Tim’s bow tie was a perfect accessory; seeing them dressed up like this wasn’t surprising though, they LOVE to dress up (which makes us even more excited for their wedding!).
And now the fun begins: putting the final touches on their upcoming wedding, which is a two-day celebration early this summer. We love all of the ideas they have, and can’t wait to see everything brought together! We just know it’s going to be so much fun, and filled with love – which is our favorite kind of wedding!
