This week has been sort of a big deal … I got to watch my best friend welcome her first baby into the world (blog coming soon! promise!) and I’ve seen so many dreams coming true. I live in a world full of “someday’s” … I dream, a lot, about everything I want to do before I am too old to enjoy it. Randy and I started our family pretty young – we were about 10 minutes out of high school when we got married, and babies came right away … And ever since, it’s been a constant busyness of family, work, family, work, family, work.
My enormously talented friend Amy of Amy Cloud Photography just returned home from this amazing trip to Ireland, and it has really gotten me thinking about all the places I want to go, all the places I want to see, all the someday’s that I have been dreaming about with Randy.
So I thought that maybe I should write it down, put these dreams and someday’s down on paper (so-to-speak).
Some day I will …
– See the big clock tower Big Ben in London.
– See the northern lights
– own a farm (more on this soon!)
– Take a ride with a real sled dog team
– Go on a cruise to Alaska (and not re-enact Titanic, thankyouverymuch)
– see a Hawaiian sunset
– Do a Tough Mudder
– visit Gettysburg
– see a Broadway show in NYC
– go to where they filmed Lord of the Rings in New Zealand. Walk barefoot through the hills.
– write a book about my life. I need to start writing more personal blogs to help me remember everything that happens!
– Kiss the blarney stone
– See Niagara Falls
– …. and so much more.
There’s literally so much that I want to do and see … none of it seems impossible, but all of it feels so out of my reach. Do you ever feel that way? Like you want to reach for the stars, but sometimes it’s hard just to stand up and reach my hands up. There is so much beauty in this world – it’s hard to narrow down my “bucket list” to just these few things … Where would YOU go if you could only go one place?
Love this! Can’t wait to see you check each of these off your list and even add more to it!
GORGEOUS!!!
You’ve got plenty of time to do it all!!
Wow! You are so right! My husband and I got married a little later, we are both in our early 30s and have only been married a year. So we are very lucky and we are traveling now while we can, but the downside to marrying later too is that I feel a little bit more pressure to have a baby like my clock is ticking.
NEVER stop dreamin’!
GO GET IT GIRL!!!!! You WILL do & see these thing!
