There are so many cool things to see in the desert – and one of those is That Pink Door! When Anne + Kelli told us they wanted to do their engagement session in Palm Springs with a mid-century modern flair – we knew the perfect place to take them, and we certainly weren’t let down! The Indian Canyons neighborhood in Palm Springs is teeming with mid-century modern backdrops around every corner!!

We met Anne + Kelli a few months ago, as they were in the early stages of planning their fall wedding and we immediately just fell in love with the both of them! They’re both so down to earth, and just a good time to hang out with. They met initially at a bonfire, but it wasn’t until they really got to hang out and chat at a restaurant with some friends that they both were like, “whoa, she’s someone I NEED to know!!”

And that, as they say, was that.

After being together for a couple of years, Kelli decided to propose to Anne while they were on an amazing European adventure. Kelli had the ring tied around her ankle the entire time (unbeknownst to Anne!), trying to find the perfect moment in the perfect spot to propose. But … the perfect moment just never happened, until – you see, it finally did. They had a rough tourist day – trying to find a way to get to their cruise ship and trying to find somewhere to eat, they eventually found an ice cream shop … and after finally getting to where they needed to be, found themselves in alone for the first time that day. It was a little spot away from the tourists, in a historic and beautiful spot … and Kelli said, “Even on our worst day, I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone else. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Through thick and thin, better or worse – these two are in this together, and we could not be more excited for their wedding in just a couple of months at one of our favorite estate venues in Palm Springs (The O’Donnell House!).
