One of the coolest things I got to do before we moved away from Colorado was to hang out with Drew and Keri for their Rocky Mountain National Park wedding. We actually took the kids up and camped in Estes Park for a week in our RV on our way from Colorado down to Georgia, and my friend Shebli came to shoot with me!
Y’all – I can’t even begin to tell you just how fun their Rocky Mountain National Park wedding was. Everything was so perfectly them, from start to finish. They rented a cute little airbnb house, where everyone got ready at and where we celebrated the wedding reception. But the ceremony itself took place in Rocky Mountain National Park, surrounded by a majestic herd of elk and the glorious Rocky Mountains. The clouds came in and out, and in front of only their very closest friends and family, Drew and Keri exchanged their vows.
It. Was. Incredible.
I loved that they totally made their wedding day all about them. For example, the golden dinosaurs that decorated the tables, to the delicious food they served (pizza from Antonio’s in Estes Park, the BEST pizza up there!) and skipping the traditional cake for their favorite pies. Drew and Keri even wore hiking boots instead of heels and fancy shoes, because that’s what they like. It was refreshing to see a couple thinking outside the traditional box, and it ultimately made their wedding one of my favorites from last year.

And then, the moment we had all waited for!!!
Drew and Keri LOVE to dress up in their t-rex costumes; they literally do it at every opportunity. We did it for their engagement session, so, of course we had to repeat it for their wedding!
I WOULD LOVE TO THANK THE INCREDIBLE VENDOR TEAM THAT CAME TOGETHER FOR DREW AND KERI’S ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK WEDDING; EVERYONE DID A WONDERFUL JOB!!
