Sharilyn has become one of my favorite clients over the last couple of years. I just adore her – I’ve done a couple different shoots with her in the past (most recently here and before that here), but this was my first time getting to do a family session together with 11-year-old Lauren and 7-year-old “stud man” Andrew! This session at Rock Ledge Ranch was a mini session done as part of our adoption fundraiser series, and I’m so glad that Sharilyn decided to come. Hers was actually the very last session of the day, and it was so beautiful. The day before it had been snowing, windy and cold – but the day of the mini sessions it was absolutely gorgeous outside.
Lauren absolutely rocked her new glasses (aren’t they the most adorable things you’ve ever seen??) and Andrew had an entire collection of sticks by the time we were finished. We also had an audience of about 15 deer that were moseying about as we were doing the session, which was totally awesome. I’m so excited for all the amazing things happening for Sharilyn and her family right now – 2014 is going to be the best year ever for them! 🙂 Enjoy! xoxo
