Snowy Colorado Springs Boudoir Photos
2018 is already shaping up to be a pretty incredible year: it’s the year that boudoir is making a huge comeback in my life!
Ever since we moved in to our house last summer, Randy + I have been working at renovating an exterior building on our property that’s going to become the newest Colorado Springs boudoir studio. It’s going to be INCREDIBLE – shiplap and white brick walls, three different sets, entirely private and opening in 10 days. I’m so, so excited to start shooting inside! It’s been nearly four years since I’ve had a studio to shoot in, and once it officially opens – ahhh! Seriously can not wait!
But in the meanwhile … there’s always outside! 😉
Just before Christmas (and just before the flu swept through our house, rendering Christmas break entirely not fun and totally useless, ugh), I got to spend the day hanging out with Aubrey up in the mountains for some snowy Colorado mountain boudoir photos. She rocked a plaid shirt, an oversized sweater and well, not much else! We were lucky to find some snow up in the mountains, and despite the snow on the ground it was actually pretty warm for some snowy Colorado Springs boudoir photos! Aubrey is a complete babe, too – a total natural in front of the camera! She did so good, and I’m so excited to be sharing her photos today!
The light up in the mountains was absolutely perfect, it is my favorite light in the world to shoot in (no matter what my subject is) … but for snowy Colorado Springs boudoir photos? It is just pure magic, no other way to describe it! I would spend all day, every day basking in that mountain light if I could!
