Meet my amazing, wonderful, kind, and super talented photography partner – Amy, and her adorable husband Chris. It’s always such an amazing thing to be asked by another photographer to capture their love story, and truly – it was an amazing experience to capture this special session for the O’Neal’s. We actually split this session up into two shorter sessions on a couple different dates because the first time we totally got RAINED out and the second time, we got SNOWED out! But we had fun – and that’s what counts! Amy asked me to do this shoot for them because this past Sunday, February 17th, they celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. This couple – I tell you what, they have gone through so much in their six years of marriage – stuff that many people never experience in their entire lifetime. And despite the adversity, the hard times, the separations (Chris is an intel soldier for the Army) and everything else – they have persevered. I’d go so far as to say that their union is stronger now than it ever has been – and it just gets better with each passing day.

Together for seven and a half years, Chris and Amy are the parents of four wonderful children – Lily (6), Grayson (2), Claire (8 months) and Austin, who is in Heaven watching down. It’s awesome to watch these two as parents! Chris is the perfect fit for Amy – he’s always doing everything he can to make her happy, and I can see that he just absolutely adores his wife. I know that the future holds so much for their family – and my hope for them is to experience life together, and to keep building their family together. I’m so blessed to count these two among my friends, and am looking forward to being with them to celebrate many more years of anniversaries!
