Please note: I am located in Phoenix and no longer offer travel outside of Arizona. Thank you!
Y’all know how much we LOVE mountain weddings – they’re intimate, beautiful to photograph and generally speaking bring us the most joy as Colorado wedding photographers. Even better? When we get to explore new places and act like adventure wedding photographers, taking couples by horseback and enjoying all the beauty that Colorado has to offer. Drue and Kelly’s Trappers Lake Lodge wedding this summer was absolutely EVERYTHING we love about Colorado mountain weddings!!
We first met Kelly and Drue at their Garden of the Gods engagement session a few months ago, and immediately just fell in love with their vibe. They’re literally the coolest, most laid back people – the kind of people you could call at 2 in the morning with an emergency, go for a run with or just grab a slice of pizza and a cold beer. We’re actually a bit sad they don’t live in Colorado, but knowing them totally gives us just another excuse to go down to photograph anything down in Texas! 😉
Their Trappers Lake Lodge wedding was wild – sideways rain, wild heat, and some of the strongest winds we’ve ever experienced at a wedding. To the point where guests were holding the reception tent down because the 50-gallon water tanks holding it down wasn’t enough. Talk about a wild Colorado wedding! Haha!
Drue and Kelly honored us with being their official marriage witnesses. Cue the tears!
