Welcome home CPT Eric Bierschenk, and the rest of the soldiers from MB-10 (as well as SFAT Flight 2!). When Kate booked me waaaay back in June for this homecoming, I was so excited – because this would be the first time Eric ever got to meet their now-7 month old daughter, Anabelle Mae. Their almost 2-year-old son Liam was so excited to see Daddy – but a little overwhelmed due to the mass of people at the Special Events Center on Fort Carson. There were about 400 soldiers that came home at the same time as CPT Bierschenk, and I’m pretty sure the SEC was filled to max capacity by the time the soldiers marched through the door at about 12:15am. It was just an amazing experience to be there, to see Eric’s parents and brother reunited with Eric and his family. Enjoy! xoxo
