homecoming | SPC’s Copeland, Taggart, Whitear + Trantham and MB9

Created by Ali CoÅŸkunfrom the Noun Project

Yesterday morning I got to do my last May homecoming down at Fort Carson … and it wasn’t just one family I was with – I was with FOUR! A group of friends were all welcoming home their soldiers, and asked me to capture it for them … It was such an amazing experience. Every homecoming is awesome, but to see these four women together one last time before their soldiers came home was an unforgettable experience. Karon was there to welcome home her husband, SPC Tyler Copeland; Michelle was there to welcome home her husband, SPC Sam Whitear; Becca was there to welcome home her husband, SPC Tom Trantham; and last but not least, Sheila was there to welcome home her son, SPC Patrick Taggart. These four brave men spent the last year overseas in Afghanistan, and their friends and family are so glad to have them home!
