Eddie and Jennifer are two of the sweetest people we have ever had the opportunity to work with since moving to Wisconsin. Not only did they make the long drive for their winter engagement session at Devils Lake, but they hiked up icy rocks, popped champagne on a frozen lake and dealt with crazy chilly cold weather, but they did it in dress shoes and a gorgeous gold sequin dress. Talk about impressive! We only slipped and fell a couple of times, so I definitely consider this a win, haha! And then at the end of it, they trusted me to get us back to our car – even with Randy being a naysayer. It was basically the perfect day!

Winter Engagement Session at Devils Lake in Wisconsin
After we got done hiking the eastern bluffs, we went out onto the frozen lake. Eddie and Jennifer popped a bottle of champagne, and toasted our incredible day together. It was our first time ever standing on a frozen lake, which was pretty neat. Luckily Eddie is an experienced winter fisherman, so, he knew where it was safe to go!
And before we know it, we were treated to the most incredible sunset. Eddie and Jennifer danced together and we watched as the last bit of light fell behind the trees.
