When Cassie initially reached out to me, she gave me a challenge: to get her combined family with five kids and their two dogs to have fun at their wintery family session in Burlington. She even said that she had zero professional photos of their youngest daughter smiling, even from their wedding day! I knew going in that I’d have to have some really fun ideas up my sleeve in order to make Cassie’s dreams of a great family photo come true.

We did their family session at Luke’s family’s property in Burlington on a semi-warm February day and y’all: IT WAS AWESOME. The kids were all absolutely amazing! All of the worry about getting happy smiles of the kids together just vanished. We sang, we danced, we played games and just made our time together just a lot of fun. After I sent Cassie her gallery, she told me she cried tears of literal joy seeing her family photos. Best reaction ever!!
