I loved this session. It was a bit chilly outside (50-something degrees … I’ve clearly acclimated to California weather!), and a bit windy near Joshua Tree … but that didn’t stop the Alvino family from having a great session! I’ve known Raime since we were in 6th grade, which is just crazy to me – it’s always so cool to see childhood friends as adults, to see how much they have (or haven’t) changed. In Raime’s case, she’s still just as cool and fun to be around as she was when we were 11 (and she’s still way taller than me, dang it!). It was my first time meeting her husband of ten years, Chris, and my first time meeting their three boys – Victor, Logan and Reiley. We just hung out in the desert, chatting and laughing and watching the boys’ crazy boy antics.
