Black Gold Golf Club Wedding
Oh, friends. You guys are in for such a treat today on our blog! We have been eagerly looking forward to Travis + Sarah’s Black Gold Golf Club wedding for so long, and we couldn’t think of a better way to have kicked off our fall wedding season. Ever since their engagement session at Leo Carillo beach earlier this spring, we couldn’t wait for their wedding day. To be honest, we’re kind of sad it’s over!
It was a beautiful September day in Orange County, filled with nervous excitement. Our favorite moment was not the first time Travis saw Sarah as she walked down the aisle, escorted by her father and step-father. It wasn’t their first kiss or their first dance, but it was during their ceremony as they exchanged vows. It wasn’t Sarah’s promise to love and cherish Travis for the rest of her life, but rather her vows to Travis’s two little boys, Tanner and Cole, that drew tears to everyone’s eyes.
Sarah said, “I promise to be fair and to be honest, to be available to Tanner and Cole as I am for you, and in due time, to earn their love, respect and true friendship. I will not attempt to replace anyone, but to make a place in their hearts that is for me alone. I will be mother and friend, and I will cherish my life with both of them. Hearing them giggle brings me a happiness I have never felt before, and I hope it rings throughout our home forever. On this day when I marry you, I marry them, and I promise to love and support them as my own.”

During and after their beautiful and poignant outdoor ceremony (which was officiated by Sarah’s Uncle Tom), their guests enjoyed live music by Josh Vietti, an extraordinarily talented violinist. Complete with a yummy dessert bar, adorable LOVE balloons, and a fun photo booth, Sarah + Travis’s wedding was an amazing kick-off to our fall wedding season!
