Meet Dan + Sasha! Randy and I are so excited for their July wedding this summer, up at the Crystal Rose in Highlands Ranch. This Castle Rock engagement session was so much fun – we spent the entire time just laughing (something about pineapples – hehehe). We did a bit of it at the East Plum Creek and then we went downtown and did some shooting before it got to be too cold outside (don’t let that warm looking sunlight fool you – it was windy and around 40*). This was an entirely new place for us to shoot at, and I definitely loved being there! Castle Rock is such a cool little town – and those overhead string lights downtown are just so cool to look at. I wish it hadn’t been SO cold so we could have shot outside there a bit longer, but we figured turning Dan + Sasha into popsicles was not the best idea.
We met Dan + Sasha through Cory + Cheryl, when we photographed their beautiful rustic DIY wedding at Crooked Willow Farms last October … and I am SO glad that we did! They are the coolest people – they love to go offloading (just like us) and they totally made us laugh the entire time. We originally started talking to them about being their wedding photographers at Cory + Cheryl’s ‘Fugly Sweater’ party last December, and I jokingly told them that if they hired us, we’d have to be invited to all family functions from there on out – haha!
I’m excited to see how they use their images for their Save the Dates that should be going out in a couple of weeks! Here are just a few of my favorite images from their session … enjoy!! xoxo
