I had the opportunity to photograph Clint and Kamille while I was out in Utah last year for the Wish Retreat. It was such fun meeting them, and getting to know their story and while it’s taken some time for me to get to these edits with my regular client schedule, I am so glad I finally got the chance to sit down and put this blog together this morning. Clint is a dear friend of Kandis, who is the owner behind Wish Photography and one of my mentors … And when she asked them to come to Wish Retreat to model for us, they said yes without skipping a beat. This couple is very special to the world – Clint is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed in 2000 with cancer and went into remission soon thereafter for 11 years. Unfortunately, Clint’s cancer has returned and right now he is fighting against it with everything he has. Kamille is such an inspirational and strong woman, and I can only hope that if I ever had to face the adversity that this wonderful couple has faced, that I can do it with the same grace, strength and faith as these two. Do me a favor? Say a little prayer for them, ok? Enjoy their session! This was taken in Park City, Utah in July 2012!
