Crescent Bay Engagement Session in Laguna Beach

This past weekend we got to go hang out with two of the raddest people ever. We showed up to Jason + Marissa’s Crescent Bay engagement session in Laguna Beach, and there they were – hanging out with their toes in the sands, waving at us with the biggest smiles on their faces, with a 6 pack of locally brewed beer in hand and a beautiful handwritten love note (with “RAD!” written on the outside) as a gift for us for making the drive out to the beach to see them.

Umm – are you serious!?! Talk about the best way to start off an engagement session!! We spent the rest of the afternoon with them, climbing all over the rocks (and doing our best to take a gnarly spill into the water!), watching the dolphins in the distance and the teeny fish in the tide pools, and listening to the sounds of the ocean, soaking in the sun as it set on the horizon. I honestly couldn’t think of a more refreshing way to spend a Friday night, especially after having spent all day traveling from Colorado to California!

We already knew they were an amazing couple – high school sweethearts who fell in love with each other right from the get-go (in fact, Jason saw just a picture of Marissa in the yearbook and knew he HAD to meet her), a little competitive (wait until you see the racing on the beach photos at their session!), but genuinely just two of the most down to earth people we’ve ever hung out with – and we just adore them to pieces!

We are just so excited to come back to La Quinta Country Club this upcoming fall for their wedding, we know it’s going to be so much fun!
