Right before Thanksgiving, I met up with Brandon and Katie for their early winter engagement session at Bong Recreation Area, and we were all hoping for some snow. This is only the second November we have spent in Wisconsin, but, it feels so bizarre to not have any snow on the ground yet!? Regardless, it was gorgeous (and chilly!) and we had an amazing time exploring the area.

Even though Brandon and Katie live in Kenosha, they hadn’t really spent much time hiking in the area. So, it was a lot of fun showing them one of my favorite local spots to explore.

Brandon and Katie are absolutely adorable, y’all. They were totally up for all the fun prompts and games I love to play during engagement sessions. We talked for what seemed like hours, and got to know each other since it was our first time meeting before their wedding next month. They met in college and actually tied the knot last year during the pandemic with a small ceremony. Their wedding this year is the big party they’ve looked forward to for so long.

After spending some time together with Katie and Brandon, Randy and I are even MORE excited for their wedding at the Stella Hotel! We just know it’s going to be absolutely amazing! Until then, here are some of my favorite photos from their engagement session at Bong Recreation Area!
