I am still playing catch up here on the blog from past sessions, and today is all about these adorable family photos at Fort Clinch State Park with Weston, Kayla and their two girls, Alayna and Rosie! I photographed this session back in February, and it was absolutely incredible. The golden light in the winter was beyond my wildest dreams! Kayla did an incredible job of coordinating everyone’s outfits (and for sure: they’ll definitely be featured in an upcoming “What To Wear For Family Sessions” style guide that I plan to put out once I get my new computer!).
I loved running around the beach with Alayna and Rosie. It took a bit of time for Rosie to warm up to me, but once she did, she was all smiles and became a big ham in front of the camera just like her big sister. Alayna, on the other hand, just immediately started twirling and dancing, and it was perfectly adorable. They did so well, despite the fact the wind was blowing pretty good and it was quite chilly (and yes, Florida can get chilly during the wintertime!). The golden sun made it look like it was super warm, but it definitely was not, haha!
I’ve been doing a ton of site scouting for amazing locations like this but here in Wisconsin, and I’m so excited to start shooting here (my first shoot here is actually this week, and I am soooo stoked). I can not wait to share photos from Wisconsin family sessions, from Lake Geneva to Milwaukee!
