What a wonderful family … This is the second time I’ve had the joy of photographing Heather and Lyla (we did it last fall too!!), and I am so glad they came back this year! We did this shoot a couple of weeks ago bright and early, right after sunrise at the Garden of the Gods – it was soooo chilly! I think it was somewhere in the upper 30s, so I have to give super props to 3-year-old Lyla for being SUCH a trooper! We did the shoot early in the morning because we had gotten rained out the night before, and I am soooo glad we did – because the lighting was just absolutely AMAZING right after sunrise. Plus, we were able to include Heather’s Aunt and Grandpa before they left Colorado to fly home! Enjoy! XOXO
