Luke + Jessica’s Glam USC City Center Wedding
Oh friends, you guys are in for a treat today!! Last week we shared the first part of Luke + Jessica’s two day wedding with their DTLA Sangeet Ceremony and today we are sharing their American-style wedding! We began the day at Level Furnished Living, Randy got to take a ride in a friggin’ helicopter (!!!) and we got to hang out on the top of a 32 story building in downtown Los Angeles for some epic nighttime portraits.
Pretty much, this was the raddest wedding ever.
Luke + Jessica met 7 years ago through mutual friends, after Luke came to Jessica’s 25th birthday party. For them, it was an instant attraction! They both love doing something adventurous (hiking, diving, mountain biking), they love traveling all over the world (which was so awesome to see photos of at their Sangeet ceremony!), and enjoying a good bottle of wine together. But even more than their love of adventure, travel and good one – is their love for each other, their family and the friends who have become family!
When we arrived, everyone was having the best time, singing and joking – while Jess got dressed, the bridesmaids all broke out into a rousing chorus of “Going to the Chapel” – which was so special!! We got to do two first looks – one with Luke and then again with Jessica’s dad – which totally made everyone cry!!!
After we finished up all of the portraits, Luke + Jessica exchanged gifts. Luke got her a beautiful pair of earrings to match her wedding ring, but Jess went above and beyond with her surprise. You see, Luke has always wanted to take a ride in a helicopter and since their life is all about adventure – Jessica surprised him with a ride around downtown LA!!! Randy got to join Luke, along with Luke’s mom and Jessica’s dad, for their ride – which Randy said was pretty incredible!
Once Luke arrived by helicopter to the USC City Center, their guests were serenaded by Jessica’s amazingly talented friend Jenny; she sang “Thinking Out Loud” as Jessica was escorted down the aisle by her father. Their ceremony was led by Luke’s best friend Adam, who did a fantastic job of an equally sentimental and humorous anecdotes, touching readings from both mother’s and incredible moments. of tribute.
Following their ceremony, guests got to enjoy a fabulously designed reception, complete with personalized mirror place settings and a sweetheart table adorned with hanging white tulips. The highlight of the reception was Jessica grabbing the mic and performing “California Love” (yes, the oldies song by Tupac) and everyone just having the best time ever!!!
Congratulations you guys, our friends, we’re so excited to have been part of this AMAZING adventure with you, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both!!!!
