Hockey Senior Photos at the Ice Rink
Introducing my first class of 2025 senior! I have been photographing Andrew and his family for years; in fact, I just photographed his older sister’s college graduation photos earlier this year! So of course, when Andrew’s mom asked if I’d fly all the way to Colorado Springs to take Andrew’s senior photos, I was so beyond honored and excited.
I loved having the opportunity to visit Colorado (where I consider it to be my home after living there for so long). Not only did I take their whole family’s photos (blog coming soon!), I also got to take Andrew’s senior photos outdoors (another blog coming soon!) and then we also headed to take some hockey senior photos at the ice rink. This is whole new style of photography that I can’t wait to start diving deeper into – on location athletic portraits, using dramatic lighting. We even went into the locker room for a few photos in there, too!
