Meet the wonderful Komada family – Ben, Katie, Will, Grace and Elyse! I’ve known the Komada’s for a while now – they were one of my very first Red Thread Sessions! I actually got to be there when they brought Elyse home from China a while ago! And now, we are all anxiously standing by, waiting for Ben and Katie to return to China to pick up their new son, Micah, who should be coming home sometime early this fall (and you’d better believe I’ll be there!). Katie jumped at the opportunity to help us out with our own adoption fundraiser, and I’m so glad she came to Rock Ledge Ranch to participate in my Spring Mini Session fundraiser!
We didn’t do a lot of whole family together photos since Micah is not home yet, but we did a lot of the kiddos by themselves and together. The bond I see between the three of them is so wonderful – I cannot wait to see how Micah just meshes in with them. Ben is so excited for a brother, too!! Ben and Katie are such wonderful, kind people – I feel very blessed to have them in our corner, holding us up, always there for us whenever we need a shoulder to lean on, advice or just a quick prayer. I’m so glad we got brought together so many months ago through Red Thread Sessions, and it is an honor to be able to document their growing family!!
