Hello and happy Friday, friends!! Today I’m sharing all about Stewart and Angela’s engagement session at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. We did this session on a busy summer day, in the middle of the afternoon. Normally I don’t like to do sessions earlier than about an hour before sunset, especially during the summer! But, luckily Olbrich has a ton of open shade so it made it a little easier to shoot there and not get crazy dappled lighting. After we walked around Olbrich for a while, we went across the street to Lake Monona so we could take some photos with their sweet puppy girl, Rosie!
Stewart and Angela met in college, and have been dating for several years now. Even before they officially started dating, Stew just knew that they’d end up together and get married. When the time came for him to propose this past Christmas, Stew got Angela a a very nice massage and weekend getaway at The Osthoff. Of course, she had her suspicions but he reassured her several times that it would be another year or so until they got engaged… well that Saturday, they took a walk out to the courtyard and he proposed in a gazebo!
Their 2024 wedding is going to be so amazing, Randy and I are stoked and can’t wait!
