On 300 acres, there is plenty of space for the average 200 weddings they host a year, and a different vibe and aesthetic for any couple looking for a wedding venue in Queen Creek. Queen Creek is just a mere 45 minutes east of Phoenix, and offers a totally different aesthetic for the couple who doesn’t want a desert look for their Arizona wedding.
Earlier this year, I spent some time at Schepf Farms in Queen Creek to tour their three event spaces. You read that right: Schepf Farms offers not one or two, but three different spaces for weddings! I’ve been taking some time to check out all the different wedding venues that Arizona has to offer, and I’m thrilled to share Schnepf Farms with you.
Schnepf Farms, a Queen Creek Wedding Venue
The busiest time of year for Schnepf Farms is between September to May, avoiding the wild heat of the Arizona summer. The venue fee starts at $6500, and Schnepf Farms not only offers the venue options, but also catering starting at $26 per person and a wine and beer bar (no liquor though).
Not only does this wedding venue east of Phoenix offer places to get married, but it also hosts several events throughout the year. This includes the Pumpkin Chili Festival in the fall as well as Christmas at Schnepf Farm in December, with a special jolly guest!
The Farmhouse at Schepf Farms in Queen Creek
The Farmhouse at Schnepf Farms has both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies and receptions. There are two beautiful rooms inside of the Farmhouse for a bridal and groom’s suite, which are the biggest options of the three venues. The bridal suite is very luxurious, and has a private walkway for brides to walk through before heading to the ceremony site.
The outdoor area of the Farmhouse offers three options for outdoor ceremonies, depending on the vibe you want to go for. My favorite is the space that offers a background view of the orchard, which looks beautiful and almost gives a wine country vibe right here in Arizona. Alternatively, you can also host the ceremony inside of the Farmhouse Ballroom for chilly or extra warm days. The Farmhouse ballroom can hold 130 guests max, but the outdoor area can hold up to 200 guests.
The Meadow at Schepf Farms in Queen Creek
Are you looking for an outdoor, camping style wedding in the Phoenix area? Look no further! The Meadow at Schepf Farms is a foresty wedding venue that can host up to 200 guests, and is all outdoors. The only indoor areas are the groom’s tent and the bridal cabin, but the ceremony, cocktail area and reception areas are all outdoors. There are beautiful string lights to light up the dance floor, and it feels very secluded. There are 10 foot tables available for the Meadow, as well as at the Big Red Barn (more on that below).
I loved the evergreen trees at the Meadow, and how outdoorsy it feels. This is the perfect camp-style Arizona wedding venue for outdoorsy couple!
The Big Red Barn
The biggest wedding space at Schnepf Farms is the Big Red Barn, which can hold up to 300 guests. Just outside the barn itself is a large grassy area, which offers two options for outdoor ceremonies, depending on the preferred backdrop for couples. The vibe here is perfect for barn weddings in Arizona, especially if you love a pallet wall! The indoor space is pretty and rustic, and offers a lot of texture to the reception space. I am slightly obsessed with string lights for receptions (especially for dancing), so this indoor reception space gave me all the heart eyes.
Just like at the Meadow, 10 foot tables are available for receptions. You can see them below! There is an indoor and outdoor bar option, and even a fire pit for guests to sit around.
The Cozy Peach, an RV Campground at Schnepf Farms
What takes this wedding venue even more awesome is that they offer an Airstream lodging campground on site! There are 9 vintage airstreams available for rent, either individually or as whole, and they can be rented with any wedding hosted at the three venues. They’re available October through May, and all of the RVs have air conditioning, thankfully.
This is a really convenient option for couples that want to stay on site before and/or after their wedding. You can even have your rehearsal dinner here and there is a special airstream for honeymooners!
