I’ve been teasing all about Chad and Hannah’s rainy day wedding at the Wedgewood Black Forest all week on Instagram, and their blog is FINALLY HERE!
Chad and Hannah are literally the most adorable couple ever; Randy and I had the best time with them for their wedding day last year in Colorado. Their wedding was a classic late spring wedding in Colorado. Why? It was one with all four seasons and absolutely unpredictable weather-wise from start to finish!
It was nice and hot during the ceremony, followed closely by a bout of hail raining down, followed by some serious rain! Luckily, we made sure to have some clear umbrellas on hand just in case it poured … which it did!
This wedding also had one of the most emotional first touches we have ever witnessed. Chad surprised Hannah with a new bible with her new married name on it (Chad is a pastor), and oh man – Hannah had the best reaction to it. Not gonna lie – I totally got choked up watching the two of them!
Chad’s father, also a pastor, officiated their Christian ceremony and did a wonderful job of keeping it short and sweet. After their ceremony we danced in the rain for a little bit and came back inside for their chandelier-lit reception ceremony.
Chad and his mom even surprised everyone with the most incredible choreographed dance number!! Basically, it was the BEST DAY EVER and I’m so, so glad it’s finally up on the blog! Enjoy!!
