Just a few days ago, Randy and I had the opportunity to document our first wedding here in California. It was just the most magical thing – a day filled with love, laughter, delicious details, fantastic food and exquisite taste. Of all the wonderful things I took away from the event, the wedding dress code was what stuck with me the most.
And after hanging around such wonderfully dressed people afternoon, I thought that I had died and gone to Wedding Heaven. After posting a few peeks on my Facebook page right after the wedding, the top comments were how awesome everyone looked – that it looked like something straight out of a magazine shoot – and I totally agree. I think everyone planning a wedding should seriously consider having a dress code to match the wedding! This wedding, for example, had a dress code of navy blue and whites, vintage, collegiate and preppy, bow ties and fabulous sunglasses encouraged. And it turned out a-maz-ing!
Not sure how you should advise your wedding guests how to arrive in style to your big day? I’ve started a Wedding Dress Code pinterest board JUST for you! Happy wedding planning!
