Lexie and Jason’s Spencers Restaurant wedding in Palm Springs this past weekend was a romantic vision of metallics and pink, candlelight and Palm Springs fun.
They met way back in 1998, when they both were in high school together … but it took them a full ten years (and for both of them to move to Seattle) for them to start dating. When Jason finally proposed at Lake Chelan – it made all that time worth it because however long it took for them to finally get together – it was well worth the wait because these two are just so perfect for each other! One of our favorite details from Jason and Lexie’s wedding is Lexie’s unique wedding ring. It was made from the diamonds of her mom’s original engagement session, as well as her grandmother and two of her great-grandmother’s rings.
They planned their wedding from afar, and with the help of Leslie and Amber from Spencer’s Restaurant, it went off without a hitch! They had a beautiful sunset ceremony up on the grass terrace above the tennis courts, led by their friend Riley. Following their short and sweet ceremony, everyone gathered around the pool for cocktail hour, and the food was absolutely outstanding (the jalapeño mint dipping sauce with the egg rolls was so tasty, everyone gobbled them up!). The reception, held in the Bougainvillea Room, had a buffet dinner with all of Lexie and Jason’s favorite foods – including sushi! They also had a yummy dessert bar, featuring several different mini desserts, tarts, cupcakes and cookies (our favorite kind of dessert bar!).
