Meet my new friends, Riley and Elisabeth! We spent an actually semi-warm March day walking around for their spring engagement photos in Lake Geneva, and had a great time getting to know each other. I actually met Elisabeth’s mom Sarah and brother a few months ago, when I did Charlie’s senior photos (which I just realized I haven’t blogged yet, dang it. I’ll update that here soon, lol). Sarah recommended me to Elisabeth and Riley for their upcoming wedding in Door County this summer, and I’m so thrilled to hang out with the whole family in just a couple of months!
Riley and Elisabeth met through a mutual friend, and right from the get-go, Riley was smitten with Elisabeth, and she with him. When it came time for Riley to propose, I love how he planned it!!

They were on vacation in Hawaii and doing some sightseeing and visited a blow hole on the coast of Oahu. Riley had been planning on proposing on the trip and kept the ring on him at all times. His plan was to propose a couple days later on the Road to Hana trip, but while they were at the blowhole beach area Riley knew that this was the place. Riley asked Elisabeth if he could go to the car to get the beach bag and hangout at the beach for a little bit as it was much less populated, his plan was really to get the beach bag and hide the ring in it.
After a little convincing Elisabeth finally agreed to hangout at this location for a little longer. On the way back down to the beach area Riley asked a couple strangers if they could help take a video of the proposal. They later found out that the beach is called Eternity Beach, which is just absolutely so cool to me!
And now we are just a few short weeks away from their wedding up in Door County, and I can’t wait!!!
