Over the years, I have been able to be part of some incredible surprise marriage proposals. And let me tell you: they’re all so much fun to plan and photograph! In fact, planning these surprise wedding proposals is so much fun for me, I could totally see myself getting into event planning in the future. 😏 Mmmmhmmmmm!

Anyway, when Colin reached out to me to help him plan his marriage proposal surprise during a planned trip to Lake Geneva, I knew exactly how to get this moment captured in the best way possible. I gave him a few different options on places we could go, and we even schemed to make sure that Candace’s nails were done and even their outfits were coordinated!

I have to say, Colin took my advice about everything, and even with the weather curveball that got thrown our way (yay Wisconsin in the spring 🫠), it worked out so perfectly!

Colin even took this surprise to a whole new level too, because after Candace said yes? He surprise Candace with their family meeting them for a celebratory dinner!! Candace is so lucky to have someone love her the way Colin does, because this kind of planning and attention to detail and personalization just says so much about their relationship.
