Summer Sunrise Engagement Session in Sedona

Stephen and Andie’s engagement session was AMAZING, from start to finish. I actually met them earlier this year at Paige and Dalton’s wedding, where they were part of the wedding party. A few weeks after the wedding, Andie reached out to me on Instagram and asked me if I’d like to take their engagement photos. What an honor!
We decided to do a sunrise engagement session in Sedona partly to escape the triple digit summer heat, but also to avoid the crowds in the afternoons. Believe it or not, we were the only ones out and about at 4:30 in the morning (imagine that 😅). Before the sun even came up, we hiked up to the tippy-top of Baby Bell Rock and watched the sun rise over Lee Mountain. I can totally understand why people believe Bell Rock to be a spiritual vortex; it is pure earth magic up there.
For the last bit of their engagement session, we headed up the switchbacks to Orchard Canyon. Orchard Canyon is actually a wedding venue in Sedona, but we just went there for a few photos in their apple orchard. On our way out, we also dipped our toes into Oak Creek, too!
