Meet my beautiful friend Amy, one of my bestest friends in the world. A couple of years ago, I got to fly out to Idaho to do her family photos in downtown Boise – and it was SO much fun. I cried when I had to leave. So when Amy asked me to come to her new home in Poulsbo, Washington – I jumped at the chance. For one, I LOVE Washington and for two, I was dying to get in some Amy-time. Randy and I had a blast doing this family session (remember a few days ago when I posted about the duck poo??), which was shot at the beachfront boardwalk in Poulsbo. We spent a cloudy afternoon walking around, checking out the driftwood and jellyfish in the water, and enjoying how absolutely gorgeous the fall foliage in Poulsbo is this time of year (I’m so jealous – we didn’t get anything close to this awesome here in Colorado for fall foliage).
And Amy’s kids? We adore them. They are seriously the most well-behaved and lovable children – ever. I love them. Alex – Amy’s oldest daughter – is a live-version of Merida in looks and spirit (do NOT refer to her as Rachelle Lafevre though, Alex is super anti-Twilight haha). And Madi and Liam? Two of the sweetest children I’ve ever met.
I can’t wait for us to be able to go back to Washington to visit our friends!!
I absolutely LOVE the colors!! And the picture of the two younger kids hugging and smiling is too cute 🙂
