I am so lucky to be an active member of OpLove, a service that connects military families with photographers to provide free services – such as homecomings! When Rosalie contacted me to capture her husband’s homecoming in September after a very long year deployed to Iraq (their first deployment!), I jumped at the chance. 1LT Mattingly is a member of the 4th ID DIV HSC DTSB of Ft Carson, Colorado and I got to accompany Rosalie with her four boys, Isaac, Mikey, Alex and Anthony to welcome their husband, dad and hero home after 366 very long days spent away from his family!
