I remember when Megan first reached out to us about the possibility of photographing their whimsical San Diego Botanic Garden wedding this fall; she talked about wanting someone who could capture the moments and hang out for their enchanting, garden inspired wedding at a gorgeous outdoor place a stone’s throw from the beaches of Encinitas. I remember reading their email and just thinking “YASSSS!” because it was everything I dreamed about for a wedding. And when we met Shane and Megan earlier this year at their engagement session in Joshua Tree, Randy + I got even more excited because they totally were everything we dreamed of for clients. We were so honored to be part of their wedding, watching these two make it official after 5 years together!
Their wedding, you guys, was absolutely incredible. From the simple ceremony set up with golden light streaming through, to the quick but intensely emotional ceremony, and even their three little girls who served as the most adorable flower girls in pretty pink dresses. Everything about their attire was boho, including the fun anklets that Megan wore (made by one of the bridesmaids, who also happens to be married to Shane’s brother!). In fact, Megan’s aunt is super creative, and she actually made all the signage, the floral centerpieces and bouquets; she even made the personalized koozies and s’mores treat bags!
We’re so happy for our friends, Shane and Megan. Congratulations on your wonderful wedding day!
