In the nearly five years I have been a boudoir and wedding photographer, I can’t tell you how many times those two concepts have gone hand in hand … And it makes me so incredibly happy for both my grooms and my brides. Why? Here are 4 reasons I think just about every bride should give the gift of bridal boudoir on your wedding day!
1) It’s a fun part of the pre-wedding process. Keeping this fun surprise a secret is hard – believe me, I understand – but it plays into the excitement and anticipation of the big day. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful – make sure to take some time to have some fun with it!
2) It’s just as much a gift for you as it is for him. Why? Because the entire point of boudoir, at least from my viewpoint as a photographer and as a boudoir client myself, is to empower women and making them feel absolutely amazing about themselves and to see themselves as the beautiful, beautiful person they are. Bridal boudoir is the gift that just keeps on giving. 😉
3) There’s really no better time to do it. Many of my clients come in after they have been married for a few years, and after they have had a few kids and the number one thing I always hear is how they wish they had done it for themselves sooner. Boudoir is usually a once in a lifetime experience – make it count!
