As parents of a large family, we KNOW how crazy life is with four kids. It’s like herding kittens, trying to get everyone showered, dressed, fed and it’s no less than a miracle to get anywhere on time, especially with smiles on their faces. We’ve had our fair share of pure chaos within our own family, and it’s always super impressive to meet a family that embraces that chaos with humor. And this family? Definitely one of our favorites of all time.
We have been friends with Brady, Heather and their kiddos for quite a few years now – Ashley photographed their Garden of the Gods wedding here in Colorado Springs a little over five years ago, which is how we originally met. We’ve also been there to capture their growing family over the years (they even met up with us at the beach out in California!) and we’ve spent BBQs and lots of fun times together over the years. And now, their oldest kiddo plays football with our youngest kiddo, and we get to spend even more time together!
We love being around their family, all of their kids are incredible and some of our favorite little people. We spent the afternoon embracing the chaos with one of our favorite families at Fox Run Park, playing super heroes and pirates, hiking and exploring, climbing trees, monkeying around and watching Teagan do all kinds of gymnastics. It was super fun, we laughed a whole lot, and it reminded us a lot of how life was with four younger kiddos – and made us miss it a whole bunch.
