Bill and Litsa are two of the most genuinely GOOD people we have ever met. We met with Litsa last year for some coffee, and even from that initial meeting – I just loved her. There’s something so radiant and kind about her – that I can absolutely see so many of the reasons Bill loves Litsa. And Bill? While he’s the quiet and more contemplative of the two, he has a great sense of humor and the way he just looks at Litsa – you can see, these two are the real deal. Their Riviera wedding in Palm Springs just a few days ago was a beautiful culmination of all the preparation that has gone into the union of not only Bill and Litsa, but of their collective five children – Will, Nora, Claire, Jasmyn and Chelsea.
The ceremony was led by a family friend, Randy, and included a performance by 12-year-old Chelsea – who had everyone in tears (including me!) with her beautiful voice singing “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Bill spoke from the heart, vowing to love and cherish Litsa for all the days of his life. Litsa’s vows, based on “Something Good” from the Sound of Music, spoke of going through all the ups and downs of life – which all led them to this place, this moment. It was truly an emotional ceremony, one that still has me feeling all the feels. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed the delicious appetizers and cocktails while I took Bill and Litsa to the gorgeous “Green Wall” at the Riviera. The ballroom was beautifully decorated by Artisan Events, I just loved the table decor and flowers (and I loved the use of flower names for the tables, in lieu of numbers). After their dinner, everyone dug in to the three-tiered cake from Exquisite Desserts (which I hear tasted heavenly), and then it was time to simply dance the night away.
Thank you, Bill and Litsa, for welcoming Randy and I into your lives and asking us to document your first day as husband and wife. We couldn’t have imagined two better people together, and can’t wait to go to breakfast at Elmer’s again and again!
