Earlier this month I made the trek up to Sedona to spend a gorgeous afternoon with Ashtyn and Jake for their engagement session. It was my very first time taking engagement photos at Lovers Knoll in Sedona, and let me tell you: the views did not disappoint! And Ashtyn was hiking around in heels; granted, t’s an easy-ish location for sure, but, going up and down the trails in heels is impressive none the less.
These two are the cutest together, and have quite the love story. While we were hiking around, they told me that they originally met randomly at a house party a few years ago. There was definitely an undeniable spark between the two of them, but it took a little bit to figure out what they wanted not only in a partner but out of life. When the time was right, they made it official and now here they are! Next year Jake and Ashtyn will get married in Jamaica, with a gorgeous tropical destination wedding. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be!
