One of my new blog categories is going to be sharing more about the wonderful things to do in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is such a beautiful state, and I’ve only seen a little bit of it; I’m really excited to finally be laying some roots down and sharing about it! My very first blog about this is going to be about a recent trip up to Milwaukee that I got to take.
Milwaukee River Boat Tour
Just a few days ago, Randy and I got to spend the day with our new friends Brandon and Sarah on Edelweiss Boat Tours going up and down the Milwaukee River out to Lake Michigan. Brandon asked me to tag along so that he could surprise Sarah with a gorgeous engagement ring and surprise proposal on the Milwaukee River! I had a ton of fun scheming with him for the last few weeks, planning the perfect surprise for Sarah. If you scroll to the bottom of this blog, I have a few photos from that part of the tour!
Anyway: the tour was amazing. Being out on the Milwaukee River and then out on Lake Michigan was so peaceful and ride was gorgeous. Everyone on board was so friendly, and cheered on Brandon and Sarah after the proposal.
There were so many kayakers and boaters out on river, enjoying a gorgeous Wisconsin day. If you have never taken a boat tour, I absolutely recommend it! I can’t wait to come back and bring my kids, I know they would have a blast.
Surprise Proposal on the Milwaukee River
Brandon and Sarah got engaged while we were on our tour (the reason we were actually on the boat in the first place). It was so much fun being part of such a special moment for the two of them!
