If you should know anything about me, it’s that I love intimate weddings. What is an “intimate wedding” to me? One where the guest list is small, where there’s no wedding party (don’t get me wrong, I LOVE wedding parties too!). I love when the focus is 100% on the couple and not the “show” of a large wedding. It’s simple but beautiful, purposeful and well … intimate!
So knowing that, you can understand how excited I was for Eddie and Jennifer’s intimate wedding at Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva. They got married on one of the most popular wedding dates of 2022 (February 22, 2022 … get it? 02-22-2022). The day was cold, drizzly and perfect for a cozy indoor winter wedding in Wisconsin! We actually did their engagement photos at Devils Lake just a few days before the wedding, since they’re not local to Wisconsin and they were on vacation for the wedding.
Maxwell Mansion made the perfect setting for their wedding, with its eclectic decor and long history in Lake Geneva. We even snuck downstairs for a few photos in their underground speakeasy!
